The opening of my solo exhibition at the Prince Takamodo Gallery, located in the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo, was June 26th. It went well with about a hundred people in attendance, from the VIP list of the embassy, and some specific people I had asked the Embassy to invite for me.

Woe is me, to have not made it down to Mexico for the Bienale Chapingo. My photograph – Creek; study #1 - made it, (see Masthead) but not me. Just look at this great slideshow (photos by Alvaro of some of the artists attending a wonderful looking barbeque hosted by Adrian Lavarello.

I am having my first show in a commercial gallery in my own home town finally. I have had a solo public gallery show here and been in many public group shows , but I’ve never had a show in a local gallery.
Peter Robertson’s gallery is in my opinion the most beautiful in town [...]
